There are plenty of ae t-shirts and other materials out there. Sure, the
ae boys themselves may not care much, but they gotta care a little, since
they're always toting t-shirts around for their gigs. I picked one up on
their last tour. Of course, most bands of a smaller reputation end up
creating t-shirts to sell during tours, and depending on the amount and
size of gigs they had during their tri-repetae era, the amount or type of
shirt may be quite rare or just boring.
plus, as with all more "independent" type bands, there's plenty of
bootlegging. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the rumour you heard
was simply a bootleg.
