actually, tomorrow never knows is all lennon. he claims that was his first, and only, truly drug-inspired song. it's also interesting because 1) it's only one chord (C, i believe), 2) the lyrics are from the tibetan book of the dead, and 3) all the weird tape loops were created by each beatle individually and then brought back to the studio and manipulated/played backwards/etc. the bird-like noises are mccartney laughing (sped up and backwards). BUT, it was harrison's idea to do the backwards guitar solos on revolver.
