Aha! I thought DCL was on the list... It's too bad
HK doesn't even have DCL anymore. That leaves HK with
just about nothing in the IDM realm. :(

Yes, Gwylo Records is good, but I found their
newsletters to come a bit late. I would receive an
email newsletter about upcoming events on the weekend
they were happening (sometimes even after the event).
I guess if you check the web site regularly it might
be better. As I said before, most of the time I ended
up resorting to the free rags like HK or BC mag for
advance info.
On a followup note, I recommend searching out DJ Kulu
(maybe spelled wrong). He's not IDM per se, however
he plays a wicked set of downtempo and rare groove
type jazzy stuff. He plays in different styles all
the time in Hong Kong. He should be easy to find if
you want a break from the normal progressive trance
banter most of the clubs or "rave" parties play in
Hong Kong.
