Hey speaking of terrorist bands and stuff I have this
friend who is totally convinced that Godspeed you
Black Emporer are terrorists, or are in some way
linked to some kind of terrorist plot. See he showed
me the album cover of "Raise your Skinny Hands" or
some such shit and told me in great detail how there
were all these allusions to Timothy McViegh and all
this wierd stuff. I dunno he smokes a lot of pot.
Anyways I don't have the album, I'm not really into
them all that much (maybe I don't take enough
qualudes?) but does someone who owns this album have
any thoughts on this? I don't want to start a wave of
hysterical musical witchhunting , I'm just sort of
curious about this band now. As far as musical
witchunts, I found the projections or a few of the
projected pieces behind Plaid to be quite interesting,
also, in light of current events. Any thoughts on
that, anyone?
