Lipswitch is highly melodic. With a bunch of texture bits poking in all
over the place, imagine that the difference between those scrapes and
wiggles are similar to the differences in pitch of a piano being
considered the elements of a melody. There's only so many notes that a
harmony can be created from, but there's a whole world of textures out
there. :) Certainly there are people making noise for noise sake, but I
don't think the Schematic label musicians are any of them, except for
maybe Otto.
