I agree that there is a serious mind/body split in Western civ.
However, the idea that classical music doesn't address the body is just dead
wrong.
What about the Waltz? - a form used by many of the great "classical"
composers, it was created specifically with dancing in mind (though of an
admittedly more staid variety than what we do today).
