I cannot recommend this program enough:

basically it splits waves into individual tracks with some minor user
intervention (IE some manual assistance is required but it is really
easy). Once I have the individual tracks I use adaptec to burn the CD (I
just make sure there are no pregaps). Also it supports DAO cue sheets
which can make the splitting process even easier...
