I moved from Stanton 500AL's to Ortofon Nightclubs... man what a difference.
I figure these will serve me for a couple years so 'why not?'

I've always liked Ortofons. But I have them on DJ tables (the blue ones)
for back-cuing. For strictly home listening I don't know what I'd pick,
as long as it wasn't one of the $35 audio-technicas from best buy.
Haunt pawn shops and look for old school Hi Fi cartridges, and replace
the needles.
Your best bet is to try a few at a hi fi shop. It can be hellish good fun
to go in and try out Cylob's Industrial Folk Songs on a $10K stereo, just
to watch the look in the salesman's eyes.
