It's been slow. Most of the Wu-Tang Clan and associated projects (Method Man, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Chef Raekwon, Genius/GZA) are well-worth checking out. Most of the tracks are produced by The RZA. I didn't like Ghostface's album as much. Also there's Killarmy, with tracks produced mainly by 4th Disciple (RZA protege it would appear). DJ Muggs' (Cypress Hill) solo/comp project was a step forward. Dr. Octagon, on the Mo'Wax / insane-abstract-scientific tip, is quite good if a little hit-and-miss (produced by The Automator). I was impressed by Hyaenas in the Desert, too, on Chuck D's label. --Mark
