Err.... this is kinda irrelevant, but for those who are finally getting
around to buying their own turntables.... want a technics 1200, and don't
have the cash for it..... I bought myself the first of a new breed of
clones: the gemini pt-1000. Cost me a mere $420 Canadian.... a fraction of
the cost of a T1200. If I can answer any questions for anyone, I'd be more
than pleased..... it has been getting a lot of play since I bought it last
month.
BTW: For those that care, mono symptoms are almost gone. I have a handful
of goodies I picked up in the uk I want to share, including new universal
language 12"'s and some spanky jungle singles....
Oh, and I move to Pittsburgh in 10 days.
More on that later.
obIDM: Guess I got some catching up to do.... all I can say is after
hearing the new Fatboy Slim, the artist may be just another Chemical
Brothers clone, but he sure knows how to wield a 303..... wow!
