People with turntables: Have you ever had a record where the stylus/needle vibrates on a bass-heavy part of a track? I've set the anti-skating to 3 and also pressure to 3, and turned the tonearm weight backwords and put it all the way up, it fixes it a bit, but sometimes it still skips the record on bass heavy parts, the records that this happens on are (and it's tested on more than one turntable, also at the record store): Beck: The New Pollution (track4, Richard's Hairpiece) AFX Girl/Boy EP: Track 1, Girl/Boy song Seefeel: CH-VOX - track 5.. ashdecon It's ok now, but still Richard's Hairpiece skips backwords at one point in the track, causing it to loop forever :I there are no scratches on any of the vinyls, i've checked this of coz =) ps: i've got sl1200mk2 ;d -- __ __\ \ Aurafix aka Hillie / PHD ^ DAMONES (aka Rare Guy) / /_\ \ http://www.clark.net/pub/buh/index.html \_____/ >> buh@clark.net >> < > .. >> .<>> >> > , m7= inducing mindwaves.. electronic techno muuusik controlled manually by a p h e x t wi n .. .. . . .
