The reason I mentioned Ozrics is that eat static are 2 of the chaps from the Ozrics. The Ozrics have been around much longer and their stuff is usually easy to find / polular in the right circles. The music is different though; Ozrics play a unique mixture of musical styles, mostly instrumental with heavy influence from rock, dub, folky stuff, trippy electronic noises etc. have heard it referred to as 'crusty space rock'! They have to be heard.. (my favorite lp. by them is 'strangitude')... still they might not be up your alley.. [someone else here must have heard of them!]. Anyway.. I thought you would easily be able to find Ozrics stuff in shops (not dance specialist shops), and you could then copy down the address for dovetail records, and order the alien ep. Since you obviously don't know what i'm talking about, I can find the addr. for you if you want. Eat Static have done 3EPs before the Abduction lp, then there was the 'brain' 12" - very good, and the Gulf breeze rmx by Sasha ( ok). So... if you really want it you will be able to order it from here (will cost 4 pounds + post i should think). As I said above the 2nd alien ep (alien records is one of the chaps from eat static) is Excellent! CH-RIS

Here's a quick Eat Static discography (from memory): I'll post a proper discography when I get home to my records..... If anyone knows of any releases I'm missing, please let me know.... Albums: Prapare your sprit (cassette only) Abduction EP's: Habi-beep / Monkey somthing Eat Static EP Lost in Time ? Gulf Breeze remixes (I think -- haven't got it yet) The Eat Static EP is certaily worth getting. It has a track from prepare your spirit (which is otherwise unavailable on vinyl) and a couple of new tracks and remixes.... The best way to get the early Eat Static stuff (ie the first album, and the first 2 EP's) is to go to an Eat Static (or Ozrics) gig... I got my copies of the EP's at Megadog when Eat Static were playing.... Also, the new remix of Gulf Breeze by Sasha is a must.... Haven't got it yet, so I'm not sure of the title..... Cosmic

what you're missing: 1st Eat Static EP (alien 01) 'Inana/medicine wheel' - this is good but a bit dated 2nd Eat Static ep *the one 2 get* (alien 02) 'Almost human/4dimension/mother planet etc.' <- pay money for this 12"!

(this is the one with 'the brain' on that i referred 2. Gulf Breeze remixes, by Sasha, ok but not 1/2 as good as above.

they can't do that! in USA. Any way, Kathy - youre sorted - If Dave Walker's mate does ozrics stuff, he will be able 2 get the e.s. ep for you (but i guess he may have to order it specially) Chris.

In addition to the albums that are avilable on all formats via normal channels, there are 6 ozriocs albums that are cassette-only, availablle mail-order from the Ozrics merchanidsing service. They've also been released as a limited-edition 6CD set on Dovetail (DOVE BOX 1). Cosmic
