Hello, Just wanted to ask your advice. Does anyone here use or have a recommendation for some decent midi drum pads that I can plug into a laptop. I saw the M-audio Trigger Finger just now; looks decent from what I can tell. What are some others that you would suggest? thanks much Eric Roth www.secret-beach.com

For the same price, the new Akai MPD24 looks like a better deal than the Trigger Finger -- 2 more faders and a bigger display from the company that did more for the 16-pad interface than any other. I don't own an MPD24 myself, but I do have an MPC2KXL and no other drum pad interface I've tried has worked as well doing velocity as my MPC's pads. Also, the MPD24 has endless rotary knobs and the Trigger Finger does not. I have the Trigger Finger. I love it. However if I had to do again, i would get the Akai MPD24. Its the same price and has 360 endless knobs! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
