For the same price, the new Akai MPD24 looks like a better deal than the Trigger Finger -- 2 more faders and a bigger display from the company that did more for the 16-pad interface than any other. I don't own an MPD24 myself, but I do have an MPC2KXL and no other drum pad interface I've tried has worked as well doing velocity as my MPC's pads. Also, the MPD24 has endless rotary knobs and the Trigger Finger does not.
