Badorb(.com) was a series of limited releases on Vinyl
with accompanying T-shirt and Coffee Mug. The music
was often excellent and the releases very hard to come
by - specifically that only those copies that were
ordered got pressed. So if 200 people ordered the
first release then only 200 were pressed etc. The
releases came with a certificate of authenticity and
all.
I signed up for a subscription and got the entire
series as well as a couple T-shirts.
The whole thing was a great concept but from day one
there were problems. First the website was released
before it was properly functioning. Then once released
it was impossible to navigate through and emails to
support were cryptically responded to by "Garphoo".
Orders were delayed for ages or misplaced altogether.
Finally the operation was shut down for good with the
following message:
