Greetings from the world of WANG.
Another weekend, another outdoor party!
A little bit different this time...
We are digging out and dustin off the old Electrophonic Soundsystem,
and lending a helping hand to the Brett Youngs memorial crew
for a bank holiday weekend of festivities in the Cornwall area.
CARRY ON CAMPING, WHATEVER THE WEATHER
THE SOGGY BOOT WEEKENDER
Celebrations commence Friday 27 August 2004 in "Newquay"
Day 1: Camping
Day 2: Boozing
Saturday Night: Party
Day 3: ......?
The theme for the party is brightly coloured clothes,
as garish as possible, we don't want to see any black hoodies!
An absolutely stunning site with camping area has been secured,
with a back up indoor rave venue should the thunder and lightning
get too much.
So come brave the english summertime, 'avit large in Cornwall,
and help pay tribute to a sadly missed dear friend, and true
trooper of the underground rave scene.
For more info call 07944 114152 and tell 'em your a wanger!

I don't think they're trying to be an anything label - they're just
releasing
records that they like like they always have done - Milanese doesn't seem to
be either hip-hop or indie rawk, for instance.[1] What they are trying to do
is get club oriented records that they like into the hands of DJs, who may
not
neccessarily want to sift through the entire Warp output to find the tracks
that wouldn't immediately clear the average dancefloor, and would probably
rather have an imprint that points out the bits that might be of use to
them.[2]

[1] What do people think of Milanese, by the way? I've not heard enough of
him to form much of an opinion - is he worth checking out properly?
[2] Apologies for the various generalisations here, but I think that they
hold enough of the time for the point to work.
