I don't think they're trying to be an anything label - they're just releasing
records that they like like they always have done - Milanese doesn't seem to
be either hip-hop or indie rawk, for instance.[1] What they are trying to do
is get club oriented records that they like into the hands of DJs, who may not
neccessarily want to sift through the entire Warp output to find the tracks
that wouldn't immediately clear the average dancefloor, and would probably
rather have an imprint that points out the bits that might be of use to them.[2]

[1] What do people think of Milanese, by the way? I've not heard enough of
him to form much of an opinion - is he worth checking out properly?
