Well into '04... heh.
I can't agree with you entirely, because there was a bunch of Merck stuff
that I didn't hear from '03, but I will say that Serial Human is definitely
one of my favorite albums of last year. Especially when compared with their
first full length, Enveloped, which never grabbed me all that much.
I think I'm gonna have to hit up the Merck mail order sometime soon...
I definitely dug all that I heard from Merck, just didn't hear enough to say
that they were label of the year. My pick for that was Rephlex, just for the
sheer variety of stuff that they put out. Loved the Amen Andrews, the
Stakker/Humanoid reissues, the Victor Gama, etc...
Can't wait to hear that new Proem!
