oh and it CHANGED SO MUCH. Read the fucking law, glowsticks. Or just check
the discussion on kuro5hin from about two months ago. Jesus H. Double
Chocolate Christ. The 'crack house' act has been on the books for years, the
RAVE act was a puny addendum to make a few conservative congressmen look
good. BUZZ was a narcotics convention as long as I've known.

Uh, let's see. Compare and contrast DC as a whole, which is a giant drug
supermarket to begin with, and the Nation club where BUZZ was held, which is
so amazingly drugridden that it is punitively OFF LIMITS to area military
personnel. It wasn't even a cool dance party for the ravers, it was just an
excuse for college age kids to dress up and play Hunter S. Thompson to the
pounding beats. All the serious big pants heads I know go to warehouse
parties outside the district.
If anybody else would like to compare the USA unfavorably to China again in
the near future, please, go right the fuck ahead. I saw the Int'l Noise
Conspiracy play right here in downtown DC this Tuesday past and nobody shut
that down, socialist sedition and all.
