Ok... its not quite on topic, but I'll bet someone on the list can help me with this. I'm currently on a sort of angry rock with synthesizers binge. Listening to lots of The Rapture, Six Finger Satellite, Suicide and stuff like that. So angular rock with synthesizers and maybe some screaming or vocoders. What else do I need to know about beyond the obvious stuff like Trans Am and stuff? -Aaron --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Maybe it's obvious stuff, but try Mr Bungle... you'd want their second album, Disco Volante... And come to think of it, some of the Bungle-related bands might be right up your alley... maybe Secret Chiefs 3, probably Fantomas, and definitely Faxed Head. You also might enjoy the Boredoms, specifically Onanie Bomb Meets the Sex Pistols. It's more noisy than angry, but it's loud and fucked up and heavily electricized post-recording. I'm sure I don't need to point out that "angry rock with synthesizers" pretty much describes all of industrial... Z __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Why hasn't anyone mentioned Add N to (x) yet? Goes hand in hand with Six Finger Satellite & Trans Am, a bit less with the others that were mentioned so far. sqrrt -----Original Message----- From: Aaron D Meyers [mailto:adm226@nyu.edu] Sent: Thursday, February 21, 2002 2:33 PM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: [idm] synthy rock!(?)
