Yes, going MIDI out of your keyboard to the MIDI in on
the SP-202 you can trigger the samples, and control
other param. with it as well...
However, not having a MIDI out on the SP-202 is a
MAJOR disadvantage if you are going to record the MIDI
data (which is always a good idea, and much more
flexible than dealing only in audio)
I personally wouldn't even bother with it.....If
you've been an electronic musician for 4 years, im
sure your set up is big enough to not even need
it.....Hell, if your computer has enough muscle, you
can do all your sampling internally.....
Bottom line, if your going to pay more than $50. for
it, I would say dont waste your money....its a toy.
4 years of dealing with electronics should tell you
enough.
