It's strange that when undergroud electronic musicians
die, the cause of death is rarely announced. I mean,
out of respect for the deceased and the family, that's
understandable, I guess.
For example, when I heard that Muslimgauze had died of
a blood fungus (or something related to a blood
fungus... i'm no doctor), I was pretty unfamiliar with
how such a thing could kill someone... until a close
friend mentioned to me how many AIDS patients died
from blood funguses. And before anyone jumps down my
throat, I'm not making any comments about his
sexuality. Anyone with half a brain knows AIDS is not
a "gay disease."
I know very little about Carl Crack other than he did
a good job with ATR and had some nice cuts on his solo
CD, so I wont speculate on his death. Still, the
scenario around his death raises questions.
Oh well. Young people shouldn't die.
