I passed a Luna Music shop this morning and looked in(it was closed)......they are new on the block although they're not new to Indy..... Think I will pay them a visit when I return and observe how those goof-balls act(pretentious is an understatement)..... (I did see that new Bjork advertised everywhere-- but I'd rather purchase the new Afx...and neither will happen)....... BTW, that track by Esem on the Did U C release is smoking too....but thanks to a good trading friend I already heard it!......... -------Eastbound--------- O-jax!!

The new Bjork is brilliant -- the first album she's made in my opinion that really accomplishes what it sets out to do. It's very much on topic for IDM, but beyond the IDM-escque collaborators, it's a collection of really well-crafted, well-arranged, well-performed songs. As a matter of fact I'd say Bjork has realized her own idiosyncratic artistic vision in a way unique to pop music. The fact that it's a major label release that's being gobbled up like candy by the MTV Generation is intensely subversive. I spoke to one of my record store buddies, and he said that not only is "Vespertine" flying out the door, but that sales of Matmos and Herbert records and CDs are way up ... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

up like candy by the MTV Generation is intensely subversive. WHA..... say your drunk right now.........:)...subv....oh brother... MTV--man come outta that "ivory tower"!....such a banal comment as this needs no further comment!....sorry tho, maybe thats undetected sarcasm and I am just too tired to get-it @ this point.

Matmos and Herbert records and CDs are way up U're asking for it.......the only thing that's pushing that new Herbert release, is Herbert......and it gets a barely in my book because that hollow-off-timed voice in the foreground is drowning him out!.... Its truly far, far off-timed to my ears. Bjork: Yeah! There's this gubberish kid around the corner who drives a bomb and on the bumper reads?.......Yep, u guessed it, BJORK. Mr. Williams we all know that with enough money giving to the proper advertising agency, they could make an entire LP with the sound of screeching tires sale like crazy to the masses. (I better stop and apologize list--I'm just getting back from driving about 700 miles in about 9 hours with NO CD PLAYER, and no tapes. Dont take it personal Mr. Williams, cuz I dont even know U............:) Sweepy Time! Np: Rhythim is Rhythim, "Beyondthehereafter".....
