The new Bjork is brilliant -- the first album she's made in my opinion that really accomplishes what it sets out to do. It's very much on topic for IDM, but beyond the IDM-escque collaborators, it's a collection of really well-crafted, well-arranged, well-performed songs. As a matter of fact I'd say Bjork has realized her own idiosyncratic artistic vision in a way unique to pop music. The fact that it's a major label release that's being gobbled up like candy by the MTV Generation is intensely subversive.
