Okay I tested the track 7 theory on a random grabbing
of cds, and heres the results;
Braindance comp: Track 7:the railway raver- pretty
unremarkable track, arguabley one of the least
interesting on the disk.
Animals on Wheels:Designs and mistakes: track seven is
pretty unremarkable, relative to the rest of the album
D'arcangelo-shipwreck: track seven is pretty good on
this one, but also I like most of this album.
Ovuca:Wasted Sunday: tr.7 is pretty good, but by no
means blowing my mind.
Matmos:a chance to cut: tr 7 is also the last track on
this one, so there could be a whole theory based
around the last track, but this one is good, but I
think track 3 or 4 is the standout on that album.
U-ziq:tang n vectif: Track 7 is pretty good, wierd dr
who ish sort of track.
Two lone swordsmen:Tiny reminders: track 7 wierd
atmospheric pretty unremarkable go nowhere track
Venetian Snares:Songs about cats: track 7 is pretty
good, I dunno about the best on the album..
We: Decentertainment: Total filler track, I think I
forgot about this one.
Okay, I dont think I had any groundbreaking findings
based on this research. Maybe its one of those things
that the more you pay attention to it the more it pops
up. Like I was reading Cosmic Trigger by Robert anton
Wilson and he has this whole thing, him and Burroughs
about the number 23 and syncronicities around it. And
then the more they noticed it, the more it kept
popping up. And thinking nothing of it I went to
denver to see plaid, and in the midst of watching the
visuals projected, out pops a schoolbus, bus number
23!
