Yo! So I'm going to this thing at the el ray on the 19th, and it's been forever and a day since I was there last.. I was wondering if they do the full body cavity search thing or not since I'd like to try and get my md recorder in there.. Any tips on where to hide if they are searching? Thanks! I am going to that show as well. If it is cold, you could probably wear a heavy coat and hide it in your coat somewhere, expecially if it has lots of pockets. Honestly, I don't know, venues like this are pretty thourough. I disagree with the heavy coat idea because they will frisk you guaranteed and pat you down, you know? Here are some possible tips from an experienced narcotics smuggler. <insert MacGeyver soundtrack here> 1)Take a fat book, cut out the center, stick in the device, put a piece of tape over it so it doesn't fall out...put it in your backpack and make sure that you put lots of shit in your backpack. 2)If you are walking in with a girl, have her put it in her makeup case. I have never in my life had that opened and searched. Plus they dont search girls as hard... cause we are so sweet and innocent. 3)It is always good to invest in a bag with lots of secret pockets (that's what I have)... they always look in the center main part of it and maybe if they are extra tough one more outside smaller pocket. Walk in with your bag already opened. Either way you are running a risk. Go over in your head what happens when you are caught. I will tell you 99% chance that if you are caught, they will have you go back to the car and put it back... unless you are being a real dik. But you accept the possibility of confiscation. Don't fight it, the nicer you are the more likely they are to take pity on you as just another music nerd... Walk in totally confident, be nice, give the nice security guard a blowjob... yeah, these ideas are much better than mine. I would do what yulia said, especially the book and backpack thing, i might even do that.
