Oh, ear infections can be very nasty. I had one a few months back. It was first hurting A LOT and after that I couldn't hear properly with the infected ear for a week or two (especially higher frequencies). BTW, look out for the Aural Expansion Remixes Vol. 2 featuring mixes by Mark Bell, Jez Vareley and u-Ziq. Greetings, Jouni Alkio

Hi there, just to clear up the confusion, the Mark Bell involved with 20:20 vision is *not* Mark Bell of LFO; hes a house producer who (i think) also records as Blakkat and has recorded with Doc Martin. Mark LFO Bell was the one who did the remix of Bjorks "Alarm Call", though; he's done a lot of production work for her and is supposed to be currently working on her new stuff (as well as Alec Empire, so ive heard). Basically steer clear of the Shaboom/20:20 Vision Mark Broom if, like me, you are not a fan of things house; otherwise those in the know tell me its good stuff. I believe Mark LFO Bell's movements since Advance have, as well as an appearance on Wap100, included some techno 12"s under aliases, and running the Syncopate label (im pretty sure; i believe there was an article in Magic Feet about it a couple of years ago). Syncopate stuff was hard looped techno in the Space DJz / Chris McCormack vein and i believe is now very difficult to find, but is well worth tracking down. I cant locate a discography for Syncopate anywhere but i think it ran to 5 or 6 releases as well as an appearance on a Magic Trax split 12" with Downwards. Hope this helps! ________________________________________________________ "I believe in the modern world. I believe in the automobile, and the Charleston, and the dry martini. Yeah, Bell's produced Bjork's work on the "Dancer in the Dark" soundtrack album. I've only seen a small clip of the movie, but the music I did briefly hear had an unmistakable Bell ring (if you'll excuse the pun) to it. Bell's currently in the studio with Depeche Mode, producing their next album.

Speed Jack is one of his more regular pseudonyms, although the style of Speed Jack's music tends to be a bit more deep-trancier and less melodic than his LFO stuff (although I've only heard a couple of EPs plus the two tracks on the In Order to Dance 5 compilation. -- Mark Stevens http://www.headspin.clara.net/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

So, who likes Gez Varley then? He was (is?) the other half of LFO. But on Advance he is hardly credited for doing anything at all. He has released an album for K7 calles Gez Varley presents Tony Montana, and it is like Plastikman, only harder and more repetetive. Anyone likes it? I think it´s allright, but a bit boring. ------------------------------ Spanners, Rest Proof Clockwork, Amber, The Noise Made By _________________________________________s_p_r_a_y_ Här börjar internet!
