Missed by me are contributions and heads up by Mixmaster Morris + lively debates with Ken Downie + ranting and disinformation from Grant Wilson Claridge. What bums me out is all the little things that have changed. The review journals people used to post on a regular basis, the show reviews - there was no way someone like say Mike P could land anywhere in the 50 states and there not be an indepth analysis of the entire show to the point you felt you were almost there youself. If you mentioned you were going somewhere people would offer to put you up in their homes! God this is sounding really 'remember the good old dayz' im stopping now. Anyway, They are netcasting from Sonar right now and its pretty sweet. If anyone wants to check it out: http://www.sonaronline.ya.com/ Ae is playing tonite, maybe it'll get streamed? Or was it last night for them, or tomorrow or next week? Sometimes that Swatch internet time seems like a good idea. Also, this is the greatest thing I have ever read: http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/20000615/en/people-thornton_1.html Fat pipe people should check out http://www.heavy.com it has offered alot of entertainment the last few weeks. I can't wait till D-Life starts. Natacha...Mmmmm....

Yeah I totally agree with you about Mixmaster Morris he is sorely missed around here BUT the times you are talking about aren't the very early days of the list a more like a year or two into its life probably. As for lively debates inspired by Ken Downie where were you when someone posted the original track-listing for "Trainer" Plaid's retrospective amonth ot two back? And people still post excellent live reviews of our favourite artists all the time. Take for example of the really good and indepth MUTEK reviews and I even read in the last week a review of a recent Mike P. gig on this very list! Granted it's getting harder to determine the signal form the noise but there is still some quality signal out there. You just need to filter it to your awareness.
