Just got this cd with above called: Konigsforst. Well..what can I say..one of the fucking best CDs of 1999!! THIS is beautiful, a mix between Richard Wagner,Michael Gira and Scanner with a discobeat too. I dont know anything about Gas but I will.Please recommend some of his other works. Yes, they are. Nearly any of the Voigt projects under the Gas monicker will yield similar results...and there are many. I believe he also did an installment in the 20' to 2000 series, which fits right in a s well. Peter Heide wrote:

Also Burger/Ink's "Las Vegas". I think that's better than the Gas stuff, as it has all the Gas elements but doesn't get quite as mired down in repition and bass (probably because Jorg Burger is all over it). Dettinger's "Intershop" as well - the best thing out of Cologne this year. I dunno. That's just what I assumed, so I didn't buy those two 12"s. But the third one is definitely new tracks, as it just came out last week (and I'm desperate to pick it up! Why can't I live near Bent Crayon or Hardwax!?) Dettinger for me is operating in the upper echelon of Cologne, where only the Bionaut and Air Liquide reside.
