anything special about the mixes on the "image of you" singles? what's up with all of the SUaD remixes? are they back? did they never leave and i just didn't know it? do they live next door to red snapper? also, how's the "venera ep" by jimi tenor? haven't heard anything about it as yet and the PC where i'm at doesn't have speakers so i can't listen for myself. was thinking of ordering the snapper singles and the tenor. and maybe the callaghan. noticed that the 2nd image of you disc has quick temper, which was the japan only track on the .jp version of "making bones". got that version since my friend was in japan at the time (along with vibert/simmonds), but i'm glad i didn't pay $30 for it. other than that... nothing. thanks to all who gave info about the maurizio disc. alan!

The "image of you" single has a very nice Salt City Orchestra Remix, if you like their Paper Recordings style (not your average Warp fare). Salt City Orchestra are tearin' up the remixing globe these days. Is this the first house track on Warp? The very earliest records in the warp catalogue were housey, in that early-90's-UK-acid-house vein. They put out a lot of 12" of Richard Kirk's dancier fare. Warp's preoccupation with broken-radio noises and incoherent breakbeat is a relatively recent phenomenon. (i.e. Autechre, Squarepusher, and I like those records despite my description)
