I'll remember for next time. I'll tell you what, I'll remove the vowels to
save even more space on your drive - dsgr pssntly is even shorter, as well as
a pleasantly respectful phrase of disagreement, guaranteed to offend no-one,
not even the soft-shelled U.S eggheads on this list like yourself, who run in
fright from the mention of the word 'cunt', and who were probably beaten to a
pulp on a regular basis when young.

Ah. Why not code a JPEG of yourself and we'll see if *you're* cute.

What, so I'm now the Steve Martin of idm?

This was a cunningly intelligent ploy to draw a parallel between the
reviewer's insistence that Aphex's tracks have to be long, and my own reply,
which was very long and grinding and no doubt caused him to (etc.)

I've already paid Gonzi to poison this fellow's pets, and next week I'm gonna
mail him broken Beaumont Hannant records (which in my opinion, makes for a
great remix).
I can live in complete peace with someone if they don't like Aphex records,
they aren't for everybody, and if you aren't aware of this kind of music, I'm
sure it must be perplexing stuff. BUT WHEN a guy rolls out the reasons that
this guy did for not liking RDJ, yet proclaiming to love early AFX material,
he really deserves to be shown up as a fool. It isn't about being on the
same wavelength, or having compatible brainwaves (mumbo jumbo), or not having
the right vibe (!), it's about having a closed mind to new ideas. Eventually
he will really like this record, whether through listening to it again and
again and finally getting the message, or through the whole scene changing
and more people making AFX-influenced music, or through carefully reasoned
argument on idm, he will. Why he doesn't now is the reason I posted, and
proclaimed his review to be an 'opinion based on superficial listening'.
That's as far as you needed to read, the rest was simply repetition of the
main point.
