Hey, guess what? I just bought a ticket to see Meat Beat Manifesto in Chicago on August 11. Sadly, the Orb was supposed to play on the same bill, but Mr. Patterson chickened out! What, doesn't he like Chicago? While we're on the subject of the Orb. Does anyone remember the sheep on the front of the Live 93 disc? I just got that too. Nice weekend, eh? Check your local hangin' out rags and ticketmaster online. MBM may be coming soon to a theatre near you! All you Chemical Brothers-esque music fans (don't be afraid to admit it), there's a compilation just for you. It's called Hardhop + Trypno. It's on Moonshine (right now you're thinking "I'm sure this sucks"), but it's AWESOME. Really funky, bass-heavy, hard shit. The only known band (at least that I know) is Crystl Method. Word from the Atmospheric Audiochair guys is that LX will DJ. Apparently the Light guy quit, and the Orb/Chicago curse was in full effect.
