ok, since you were a bit nicer this time, and I see no reason to drag
this out... I'll make a more respectful attempt at replying to you.
I wouldn't post this if a bunch of people hadn't already written to
me privately, agreeing with some of my assertions...

fine. butmy point was that it has more to do with your, or our "underground"
than economics IMHO

yes. so?
I still don't understand, please eloborate. You are appearing to be a very
rigid person. Are categories and "status" very important to you?

yeah yeah, but your point was inane(more so than mine), my opinion
is invalid because of a for sale list? Furthermore, who wouldn't want to
get rid of some of that stuff, surely you must get rid of cds once in
awhile, and I doubt all of them are on tiny labels.

well, that is partly becuase I get stuff after most people on this list,
and secondly, because people like you are waiting to be condescending to
feed their ego. ok , maybe this wasn't necessary, but this is how it
appeared and why I was so angry.

ok. fine. you are right. but my point here was that it really
didn't have much to do with economics as you claimed.

yeah, well, I try.

well, printing more than 1500 copies is hardly on the verge of commercial..
but I agree with you in some instances, but commercialization isn't always
bad for an art form... maybe someone "mainstream" like me would get/see
a commercial art form and be inspired, and come up with some idea that you
like...just a thought. But I don't think it is too easy quantify
commercialization as "good" or "bad" for an art form.

uh, well, ok. but I think you should do the same Derek, my original
post was only a joke.
