anyway, you are right, the "cool" shit was unnecessary. I'm from
NYC, and I'm fed up with people concerned about image and this "underground"
bullshit, so this is why your message in particular really pisssed me off.
If you look at it again, you really seemed to be quite condescending, and I
don't think it is necessary to speak to anyone that way.
I didn't mean to belittle Rephlex, I don't think I would
be as happy today if it weren't for what they started and continue to do.
I can see why my message might cause you to think I was
starting that whole/tired anti-Grant whiney thread, and why you would
reply in the manner you did.
I was genuinely interested in why a label would only release such a small
number of copies if there is a large demand.
I like Rephlex, I didn't mean to be an jerk, and you probably do know
more about all this shit than I do, but there was no reason to be so hostile.
Anyway, the only reason I am where I am
right now is because the nice people of hyperreal helped me out when I first
joined, and I would gladly give info to anyone who "knows" less than me,
or feels too intimidtaed to post an "obvious" question in fear of being
attacked, and would respond in a germane manner(like you did to me this
time derek, thank you).
anyway, again, sorry everyone, especially Derek and jabberwalque(sorry if
I missp that) for all the immaturity on my part, and for cluttering this
list.
