I realize this was discussed a while ago but foolishly didn't care at the time. I was wondering if someone could tell me if this disc is out in the US or if it is only available as an import. Moreover, does the game have the same music in the US as in Europe? Who is Cold Storage? Also, from the new ish of Next Generation: With Wipeout 2, we are maintaining out links with the Designers Republic and aquiring music from professional bands and DJs as well. (Andy Satterthwaite, the game's producer) Has anyone here got a li'l "I love my DR" gif or something like the one in the game? I'd like to stick it on my page. Also, I heard a lot about the TDR book(s?) and then nothing. Are these things out and where do I get them? Many thanks, e (this game is the shit, by the way)

Yeah, I bought it, and if you can get it for a decent price (I paid CAN$ 18) it's worth it. I wouldn't pay the outrageous US$28 you're easily charged here in the US. It doesn't contain any epic tracks, but it's an overall good album without the annoyances of the 777 disc. I found that it became better after a few listens. If you liked fire/water, you'll like this, too. Incidentally, the tracks with Laurent Garnier's or Carl Craig's influence are the best ones... I quite like this cd, but then I quite like System 7's sound. Anyhow this new album is more of the System 7 sound with an empthasis in a few tracks on jungle beats (I use the term loosely)... it works quite well and the collaboration tracks are good and sound exactly like what you'd expect, ie, LX Paterson and Hillage's track is very orbesque and Derrick May's track is very stark & detroity. With this cd though I notice Hillage guitar playing a lot more than the other releases... I don't know if it's just me or have other's experienced this as well? I'm not saying this is a bad thing... in fact I quite like his guitar playing. If you're a fan of the other System 7 stuff i'd recommend it to you. Regards, John
