Hi,

I quite like this cd, but then I quite like System 7's sound. Anyhow this new album is more of the System 7 sound with an empthasis in a few tracks on jungle beats (I use the term loosely)... it works quite well and the collaboration tracks are good and sound exactly like what you'd expect, ie, LX Paterson and Hillage's track is very orbesque and Derrick May's track is very stark & detroity. With this cd though I notice Hillage guitar playing a lot more than the other releases... I don't know if it's just me or have other's experienced this as well? I'm not saying this is a bad thing... in fact I quite like his guitar playing. If you're a fan of the other System 7 stuff i'd recommend it to you. Regards, John
