GoodafternooN, Yesterday, after some serious hunting I managed to find a couple of Photek EPs. Not really knowing what to expect (had only heard the name before) and finding it filed under Jungle I feared the worst - most of the records I normally find in the Jungle section tend to annoy me a lot. But.. Photek turned out to be different, not your every day type of club-jungle. Photek happens to be very -good-. So if you're looking for some proper Jungle, as you will also find on the Plug series by mr. Vibert, you should definitely go and check out Photek. The records I found are ptk002-ptk006 on Photek and one EP on MetalHeadz. Can't really say I prefer one more than the others, they're all worth your attention. GreetZ, Delete.

Noted.. Cylob is not entirely my cup of tea but Photek is brilliant (and yes, I -did- give you credits for mentioning it, for leading me towards the light :) - in Muziek.028 that is). I'm compiling a teep for Ramone - so he'll be dealt with in a serious way in a week's time.

Got Jacob today as well as T-Power (as they were both mentioned as worth checking out when you like SubTropic). Also bought Emit Ecaps (have you got that one already?).. has been mentioned on this list before but I will write a review for 'our' area-in-need.. Just to stress this again (for everyone on this list) it is worth checking out this Jacob on R&S if you like SubTropic. The T-Power I gave a very short scan but it sounded good as well.

I would suggest you to do so asap. The UFO one is one of my favourites.. really nice. Have you, or any one else, decoded the ptk005 one already ? Or am I the only one that's got Japanese and Chinese text all over it ? A Chinese guy translated the Chinese part and recognised a phone number in the Japanese part but I don't know any Japanese to translate the rest..

Which new GFQ ? The CLR412 (or was it 420?) with the remixes of several GFQ treks ? Encountered that one last week but I didn't really like it I must say.

I don't know, but I spoke with someone at Mo' Wax yesterday who told me that she will be releasing a new single in the first week of May, which apparently uses a live orchestra.
