Yesterday, after some serious hunting I managed to find a couple of
Photek EPs. Not really knowing what to expect (had only heard the
name before) and finding it filed under Jungle I feared the worst -
most of the records I normally find in the Jungle section tend to annoy
me a lot.
But.. Photek turned out to be different, not your every day type of
club-jungle. Photek happens to be very -good-.
So if you're looking for some proper Jungle, as you will also find on the
Plug series by mr. Vibert, you should definitely go and check out Photek.
The records I found are ptk002-ptk006 on Photek and one EP on MetalHeadz.
Can't really say I prefer one more than the others, they're all worth
your attention.
