was pleased to find it this week. Yes, it was always expensive, never below about 16, I've seen it as high as 20. regarding the earlier question, "Retro Techno" was a compilation of similar classic early detroit techno, relased on Network UK. Includes X-ray "Let's Go" and Cybertron's "Clear". As I don't have "Relics" I can't comment on relative quality, but "Retro" is 12 tracks of detroit bliss, recommended. J ^ obElectro :) Link's "Antacid (Jedi Remix)" and the Jedi Knights "We want to Funk you" run at exactly the same bpm and very similar recording levels, making them a cinch to mix... __ ___ ___ _ __ __ (__` | (_ /_\ | \ \_/ _ | .__) | (___ / \ |__/ / \_| steady-J@firefox.co.uk

I have Relics. It's fantastic! It's not all Transmat though (technically). There is a BFC track on there which is Fragile. I have the vinyl and it comes in a beautiful sleeve painted by the same guy who did the cover to Philosophy of Sound and Machine. Third Earth did it, whoever that is. The quality is fine. Buzz tends to do great pressings. It is a full length on vinyl so the level is a bit lower than a normal 12", but that's standard procedure to fit more music on a single record. The levels aren't as low as something say like the Telstar compilations (in comparison the Telstar stuff tends to be extremely quiet...) Even though I have almost all of the singles from Relics, I still love having the textured packaging. It's a nice peice. -robert ______________________________________________*AudioElectronic*_____ "UFO: Starting with the MG Frequency knob at 0, sonic explorers \ as you turn up the knob, \ the UFO will sound like it is taking off." -> MS-20 manual ____\

Third Earth is Abdul Haqq from Detroit. He did a lot of Buzz artwork as well as the sleeve of Planet E's Intergalactic Beats & Infonet's Detroit 313 compilations and the standard record sleeve of Orlando Voorn's Nightvision label..... I haven't seen anything new from him in ages...
