Whoo, whoo, whoo what's in the bag today... (scary dary) A Massive Attack 12" Karmacoma ep with ... a remix by Portishead, a remix by Tricky, a remix ben young and last but definitly not least a remix by UNKLE.. R.E.A.L.M. - Cardioscar 12" on Sublime.. nice smooth hypnotizing techno.. Strango Cargo - Million Town - 12" And this one is REALLY beautiful! It's William Orbit again with his Strango Cargo.. If you like his album Strange Cargo III You will certainly like this one! It from the forthcoming album.. Going on.. Going LOW.. For the time being - Human Beings, album on Deviate.. Really nice, if you like ambienttechno (taking to all not-Lowlanders) check this one out! Well produced album, sounding a bit (just a bit) like a mix between FSOL and Orbital.. Very relaxing (Luc almost put it trough my troth to buy it ...) A new U-Trax (cat# 11) with nine (?) tracks bumpin' and bouncin'.. only for the headstrong.. Almost drum (dedum) only.. Soon also available UTR#6 by The Connection Machine (promo already to be listened for a just a second at the shop..) ........ After long waiting also finally available here in Holland the Jedi Knights and Tusken Raider ep's (on Clear) and the TCM 12" on Planet E... both worth waiting.. ......... Peel Seamus (graag naar den haag..)

You might think that, but check out "Dub Killer" on GTO Data Trax Vol 1 - you might be surprised by what these people can do! To avoid confusion, of course Tricky and Tricky Disco are entirely unrelated. also, from Peel's original msg:

Who is this TCM? The only TCM I know is "The Criminal Minds" who hail from Milton Keynes, started out doing Urban Hip-Hop and wound up making jungle plates.

Not really IDM, but Tricky is/are a trip-hop outfit, quite similar to Portishead, though without the cocktail-lounge vocals. I think Tricky himself is a guy who used to be in Massive Attack. The album Maxinquaye has (deservedly) had heaps o' praise here in the UK. If you like Portishead, you'll like Tricky I reckon. One of the tracks even uses the same Isaac Hayes sample as Portishead's Glory Box - I thought it was a remix of Portishead when I heard it in the shop. ;;, | Paddy Grove, \\ .;(((((c. The Connection Machine (Jereon Brandjes & Natasja Hagemeier) make dead on IDM. You can currently devour their tasty blue 12" on planet E and soon you'll also be snacking on their U-trax offering. (April?) In the future expect to be dismissed by their 808 and 303 (they only break these out when they feel "wild") on the U-trax sub label 'phoq-U'. phancy stuph this is, give it a whirl Teep
