Wow, it's been a looong time, but my hazy memory says that parts of
Meddle (esp. Echoes), Obscured By Clouds, and the soundtrack to More
might interest you. This stuff is Pre-DSOTM, i.e. <1972 (i think)
Speaking of PF. I happened to tape a DJ set that contained a
techno/ambient mix of a song off of Wish You Were Here. Actually,
it sounded more like the guitar bits were sampled and reused. I
don't think it was that cheesey boot of WYWH that people have been
blathering about; the quality was quite good. Nothing I need to own, but
it was a pleasantly refreshing slant on yesteryear's hallucinations.
