I've never been able to get a straight answer for this, unfortunately. I have the address for Axis Records downtown; maybe I'll send them a letter. :) The only clue I've ever gotten about who was behind X-103 was a review (in Option, I think) that mentioned that Jeff Mills had spent months researching the myths of Atlantis before recording it. No songwriting or production credits on the recording, of course :(. Rob Wood = Rob Noiz Mike Banks = Mad Mike right?

As Sho mentioned, X-101 is credited to Underground Resistance, which Mills was still a member of as of when X-101 was released. X-102 is on UR as well, but since the UR/Mills split was amiable it's tough to say exactly who's done what. The only certain thing is that Mills has been involved in all the "x" releases. | Dave Walker, Detroit Art Services (DAS) -- marmoset@msen.com | | | | Without chemicals, life itself would be impossible. |
