I like pop. My definition of pop is song-oriented music that strives to reach an audience...consciously. it's probably broad enough to include charges of "sell-out"...i also like music that isn't pop. but it's only through pop that i got into techno and house at all...charlatans uk, depeche mode, new order...i give them props, and still listen to them. stu 8)
