Johan Burman:
"It all depends on which reality one prefers..."
Well there is only one reality. I think it`d be sad if the future involved
people hiding from one another inside computers. But is this the philosophy
list? No! So I can`t go on about that, luckily.
Kate Roberts:
The "Up above the World" (actually I think that`s the name of the band
rather than the track) 12" on Exist Dance (on purple vinyl) sounds like
ethereal, dreamy, typically West Coast trance. The 303 is musical (rare),
the chords are hazy, and there is some sample which keeps repeating itself
("trying to get to you" or something like that). However I didn`t buy it cos
it`s 2 mixes of the same track and I`m stingy. I suppose that if you live in
the States where it`d cost about ?3 (compared to ?7 over here) it`s good
value for money. I recommend it.
Darren Emerson:
It`s OK for you because you could afford a double-CD player to mix with,
and also to press music onto both vinyl and CD (AND cassette! why has no-one
mentioned that smart format?). We have to agonise over it endlessly because
there`s not much else to do.

Leaders in the Left Field! Excellent!
The Ear Plug debate:
I`d _hate_ to be deaf but it seems wierd wearing ear plugs to a club. It
seems that the only solution is to go to virtual reality clubs where there`s
a killer sound system but you have indestructible ears. Which brings me back
to my original point...
