what he said
a what.cd poll, ehh. sounds great, now that you've got the results, time to
go hang yourself. you know, i never gave a shit about placing well in polls
or competitions. especially after tracks like starcell u.k. that placed 9th
(this'd be 3rd last, 2nd last or last) in weekly tracking competitions, got
released multiple times on vinyl / cd, and liked by people who actually
listen to music instead of judging it by its amount of tracker effects
invoked on every channel on every row of every pattern.
seriously, work yourself with your tracks, if you dont know how by now, just
give up. ya fucking drama queen
p.s. göran ur a fuckin twat
p.p.s. that other guy with the "yeah if you do music for yourself, you're a
right ivory tower bastard" -opinion, you've never made anything, you don't
know what making music for yourself DOES DO to yourself.
p.p.p.s. the guy who spoke about blissfull state of making music and getting
rid of the ego -- and of the songmaking process being interrupted by "what
will people think of this" type stuff, you've nailed it spot on. some of us
first spend time learning to do stuff, then spend time learning to not think
about labelbosses, reviewers or anyone else, yearning for that state of
blissful freedom of just having some fun. and its fucking annoying. if
there's something written about abandoning outside interests after you've
gotten used to reading reviews, i'd like to read it. göran you're on your
way to not being able to do any music, very soon, and then the poll voters
will have won.
so either suicide or egocide, take your pick
