i've seen this on numerous occasions, and it looks pretty damn cool.
unfortunately it does require someone standing there and moving the
dishes around in the water the entire night. could be well worth it
if you have the time to figure it out.
there's also this option... though the task of building your own
projector looks a little daunting to me:
