Nice to get stable report about Serato.
I was at a club last night hearing a mechanic explaining the system
to a Dj who had never heard about it.
Most of the touring Dj's in my town are arriving with 40% vinyl and
60% Cd's. One or two a year are turning up with Laptop systems.
Seeing a couple of Producer/Dj's running Live setups.
What I am looking out for, is a club that installs Serato or FS as
an inhouse system, allowing Dj's to arrive with just a hard drive or
ipod. This will be the indication that the tides have turned.
Anyone had a good fling with Ableton 5 yet?
Maybe we should just start calling Dj's, JB's (juke boxes)!
