i hereby nominate the pixies for honorary inclusion
in the grand corpus canon of idm. nominations pending
for herman's hermits and its televised brethren,
'herman's head', have been forfeited; though a note
of acheivement shall be awarded to venerable film
critic and underappreciated idm enthusiast Leonard
Maltin for his outstanding analysis of autechre's
max/msp applications and their parallels to the films
of sergei eisenstein and sidney poitier.
