he played his tracks on 2 turntables, 2 cdj cd mixers and a
MPC sampler, which he played a lot of beats and sounds off
of tapping the pads live. he played the melody to 'organ
donor' off the mpc, tapping pads and generally just tearing
shit up. seeing him scratch cd's was totally off the hook...i
didn't think it was possible to get such good results out of
cdj's.
the visuals were amazing-he had 3 rear projection screens
showing freaked-out films. very impressive. and there was
also a camera mounted above him that was mixed in with
the films. the camera would zoom in on his hands so you
cound see EXACTLY what he was doing at all times. and he
was very busy.
totally impressive.
