Dangerous comment to make there - if you don't look out it'll turn into another 'vinyl vs CD' thread. That reminds me - has anyone noticed that the name 'IDM' is kind of stupid... Seriously though, it does piss me off when I get particularly wierd sounding bit of vinyl with no indication of the correct speed (warp are a particularly bad offender here). All I want to do is listen to it at the same speed the artist recorded/mixed it at, and then if I want to start buggering around with the speed later (which I often do anyway) I can do it because I want to, rather than because I have to.
